2019 UEFA Campions League Quarter Final Draw & Predictions

Around 11:00 today the draw will be made for this seasons Champions League Quarter Finals.

8 teams go into the hat with 4 teams from the Premier League all hoping to reach the final in Madrid.

Man City are this years team to beat with the quadruple still an option for Pep’s team.

Barca & Messi just keep doing what they do, and a Ronaldo inspired Juve are also one of the form teams.

The remaining English teams are all hitting form at the right time, could they be in with a shout…

Liverpool finishing strong against Bayern, Spurs seem to be getting all of there injured players back and who will discount Ole’s Man Utd.

The outsiders cannot be ignored Ajax’s performance against Real Madrid was a joy to watch, but perhaps this is a step too far for Porto.

The Golden Boot is still up for grabs with Messi & Lewandowski leading the way with 8 goals, Marega & Tadic  for Porto & Ajax respectively are next in line.

If I had to pick now I think I would go for Man City, but dont rule out Man Utd or Ajax if they get a good draw.

For the Golden Boot I will say Aguero with Tadic possibly if Ajax get through to the final.

Youghal United FC in Coerver Partnership

March 2019 will see the launch of Youghal United FC as the latest Coerver Partner Club.

” I am delighted that we have finally got the club on board as a Partner Club, West Waterford East Cork region is key to our 2019  plans and Youghal Utd FC will be the ideal partner. The club have identified grassroots soccer as a significant part of their long term development and we are looking forward to getting started.”Jason Brown Coerver Coaching Munster Technical Director“Having worked with Coerver & Jason in the past I have always been an advocate of their coaching methods and it has been something I have wanted to see implemented at our club. At a recent meeting with Coerver I was given an insight to their future plans with the impressive Partner Club Hub, links with UK Grassroots Clubs and the AdiClub programme with Adidas and we felt now would be the ideal time to implement this at  Youghal United FC. Their knowledge and expertise will be key to helping educate our Coaches, Parents & Players on what we as a club need to focus on if we want to help every child playing for Youghal United FC to be the best they possibly can be.” Thomas Clohessy Youghal Utd FC ChairmanMore news on this to follow…

New Coerver Intro Course in Cork

Following conversations with grassroots clubs in Cork we are running a Coerver Intro Coach Education course split over 2 evenings during the Easter Holidays.

The small sided leagues are about to start and the ongoing & schoolboys/schoolgirls fixtures mean that the weekends are busy times for coaches.

For this reason, our next Coerver Intro Course will be held over 2 Wednesday evenings on April 17th & 24th at Carrigaline Utd FC.
